As the largest shopping mall in the Northwest New Territories, TMT Plaza is looking for an effective marketing channel to 1. increase and maintain customer loyalty & customer stickiness to the mall, 2. encourage repeated shopping to boost sales volume and 3. establish a comprehensive customer relation management for data analysis. In order to achieve these, the mall has partnered with GT and launched their first ever iPhone app TMTPlaza.

Project Objective

In order to achieve these, the mall has partnered with GT and launched their first ever iPhone app TMTPlaza.

Result

In order to celebrate the launch of tmwplaza iPhone app, tmtplaza has organized a mini product launch campaign called “Gift for You”. For those who download the app and register for membership, they will be entitled to gain more lucky draw upon spending in tmtplaza.

Mobile Solutions

tmtplaza started with this iPhone app as an extra touchpoint for all customers by digitalizing the shopping mall directory with the latest updated news and promotion. The application offers a combination of functionalities to the loyal customers of the center and to the shop owners. With the membership registration feature, customers can register for membership in-app without filling in any paperwork and would automatically receive the hottest exclusive deal right away!

Content Management System

The CMS is developed to handle highly dynamic content of this app. It allows live update of dynamic marketing contents such as latest promotion offer, multimedia content and even in-app promotion of special events and announcement according to their marketing plan and tenant partnership.

Simple and clean UI

In order to enhance better user experience, it is important to customize a user-friendly interface that allows users to navigate the contents, search for merchants and find the promotion news quick and easy. The clean shopping mall directory and 5 main menu tabs layouts are optimized for iPhone users according to their user behaviors and Apple app design guidance.

Social Responsibility

The application can be used to replace hundreds of pages of physical catalogue copy, which encourages environmental friendly initiative to reduce paper wastage and help minimizing cost in printing and catalog transportation.
