The achievement of Pizza Hut HK iPhone app has been widely recognized in the industry. It was awarded at the Mobile App for Life Contest 2012 and recognized by Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (HK WTIA) as The 10 Most Popular Marketing Smartphone Apps.

Market Recognition
Pizza Hut HK app ranked top 1 on the iTunes Appstore under the Lifestyle category in only 1 week since its first launch on 18 Oct 2010. More than 400,000 people have download the application and more than 7% of online ordering is from the application. The total sale transaction increased by 31% when comparing for 2 years’ figure after the application was launched. It has been consistently as the top 10 local Food and Drink app and receive an average rating of 4.5 stars.

Mobile Solutions

Pizza Hut Hong Kong partnered with Green Tomato Limited, the regional leading mobile solution consultancy, developed the 1st Hong Kong food ordering iPhone application “Pizza Hut HK”. Pizza Hut HK provides customers with different food ordering experience by allowing them to ordering food and beverage without talking on the phone or coming to the store in person.

Loyalty System Integration

Besides being an ordering platform, the application is linked to Pizza Hut’s Rewarding Treats Program, so that after each order transaction, members can immediately see their updated “Rewarding Treats” points balance. Customers also get access to mobile discounts. The application features an offers section with promotions Pizza Hut is running or joint promotions with various partners.
